Our train trip to Odense was good. The students mostly rested for the hour and a half trip. We were able to check into the hotel even though we arrived far before check-in time.
We took the students to the pedestrian street and then they walked around exploring Odense for a little over an hour. We met up with Olav as he had arranged a walking tour for us. Odense is a very old, very pretty city with lots of statues. We went through the Hans Christian Anderson Museum (Odense was his home town) and he is a huge star in Denmark.
In the evening the students went out for dinner and some checked out the local night life.
